Handwritten in Hebrew by a highly trained and skilled scribe, the Torah is most holy and precious.
Each Torah letter contains profound meanings and messages. Sublime mysteries are contained in the vowels and annotations, and in the undefined sea of whiteness surrounding the letters.
It is a Mitzvah to actually write one's own Torah. Sponsoring one letter in a Torah scroll fulfills the commandment.
